As far back as I can remember I’ve loved to talk. In school quiet just meant soft talk. Most days I earned detention, which meant missing my bus, which meant calling my mom to come pick me up, which meant she had to leave work. I knew she was in the parking lot when I heard the tires of her convertible Thunderbird squealing.

Her words were always the same, “Robin, what are you going to do with your life? You’re not going to be able to get a job. You won’t get hired anywhere, you talk too much.”

But, I just knew I would. Soon, I knew God had made me just the way I was, for indeed in the years that followed, I found my dream, my passion, my life, my inexhaustible ability to live.

I was born and raised in St. Petersburg, FL, by a set of loving parents, with two loving and supporting sisters.

HURRAY! I made it through High School. I could have gone to many colleges and swam for their teams. But, one summer day in 1977, my only ride to the beach was with a friend who had to make a stop to pay her tuition at a Beauty Academy. The doors opened and I saw my new Team, a Team of Hair dressers. I had found my dream career.

I’ve learned a lot from the best of the best. I’ve been blessed to work in salons from the west coast of Florida to Los Angeles – Mission Viejo, California, Atlanta, Georgia and presently the Great North Georgia Mountains.

You’ll find me most days tucked away in a cozy salon, with three outstanding co-stylists. I have parlayed my love for clients, my love for hair and shapes, and the mechanics of all color applications into my soul! My imagination is as brilliant as you want it to be. I believe it’s always about you and the visions we create together. I love to be at the salon and see my work come alive.
